History begins here in Old Town San Diego, the
birth place of California. Walk where Father Serra walked with Captain Portola as his
guide and visit the first mission completed in 1769 (Mission San Diego de Alcala).
Participate in "hands-on" science experiments at the Reuben H. Fleet Space
Theatre and Science Center and enjoy a movie in the world's largest film projection
system, the I-max theatre. View over 3,000 colorful fishes from the cold waters of the
Pacific Northwest to the tropical waters of Mexico and the Indo-Pacific at the Stephen
Birch Aquarium. End your day on a wonderfully narrated one hour harbor cruise as you learn
about the story of San Diego Bay. Other tours include Aerospace Museum,
USS Midway, Star of India, Cabrillo Monument,
Legoland, Sea World, San Diego Zoo or Wild Animal Park. Overnights are available.
