Students can enjoy
individual creativity through "hands on" activities at the Los Angeles
Children's Museum doing art work, video and music recordings, face painting, and
explorations in the sciences. Los Angeles' diverse cultures can be explored on a walking
tour beginning at the Children's Museum in Little Tokyo, and back to the El Pueblo de Los
Angeles State Historic Park. Visit Olvera Street housing Victorian Style homes and the
oldest standing adobe home in Los Angeles, the Avila Adobe constructed in 1818. Union
Station built in 1939 invites you to observe multiple facets of modern transportation such
as Amtrak, Metrolink, Red & Blue Subway lines, and the MTA bus transportation system.
Optional tours include the LA Times, City Hall, Music Center, Central Library and
Disney Concert Hall.
